In 10-15 years from now i would say it will even be a disaster for US to fight China..maybe it will be even today.

My humble opinion is that we should not fight China.

China is very capable of rolling over us in any battlefield and more than capable of upsetting NE region.

Diplomacy is the best option.

( and i am not saying this as sarcasm..we are past the sarcasm stage)

Once China becomes a $16K-20K Per Capita Middle Income economy built on domestic consumption we will see their Fangs. By then they would have replaced US/Russian influence on most of the world - Africa/LATAM/ME -

I am just worried Sir that the way in social media our military is coming out to be a joke i hope Chinese fangs dont come out early.

In Reddit dedicated chinese bots post recent Indian Army pics to make fun of us.

I can only imagine what goes around in Chinese social media..Plus the recent IAF chief’s outburst whether its good or bad but it will give the Chinese a lot of confidence!

Wars are fought on narrative/perspective not on assumptions that enemy will perform.

Proof you can throw money/new equipment at these guys but if they haven’t developed the skills in how to employ basic equipment first then it’s only going to be a futile enterprise. If you gave Paras the equivalent of what CAG/DEVGRU had in 2010 do we think they’d be as effective as those tier 1 units? Equipment is meant to come FROM requirements and tactics.

Absolute LARPers but worse because they don’t even have the mental capacity to emulate accurately, just taking shiny equipment out of the box and parading around for the ‘GRAM

Almost wish I could go back 10 years and tell my younger self to get other interests.

That is because of money constraints…Had we be having that problem i would have bever complained.

We on the other hand return unspent money to govt when our Ghatak competition has no such thing as NVGs.

Do you realise how big of a deal it is?

Ghataks are the tip of the spear of any IBG and these guys are running in night with mini torches in 2024 when the drone threat is high.

Forget about concealing night signature these guys have no idea about night warfare.

Then they have no Long range sniper training and no High/ low angle shot training..no ballistic computers..any anti thermal ghille suit..they are just sitting ducks.

Firing….poor firing drills..Chicken wings firing stance..flagging buddies 100 times..entering rooms in a weapon away stance with the belt of the rifle falling down so that the enemy easily pulls its from inside.

NSG just a showsha unit..no new drills..same old techniques..too slow and look too confused doing CQB..plus fingers on trigger even by subeidaar sahab..Got a PNVG for a shoot but dont know how to wire manage…most of the unit still has tin helmets.

Para SF…except 1 or maybe 2 units others dont even deserve to be called airborne infantry if we apply US standards…age old techniques which my grandfather used in ww2 are used in Kashmir by them…just false bravado and motivation keeps them going..


Officers…Lack of exposure..Lack of knowledge..the void which creates a Superiority complex which has no backup…When they retire and work abroad are humbled by officers from countries they havent even heard of

Jawans..lack of aptitude and awareness for the job…high degree of sacrifice and dedication keeps them going…follow orders blindly…which keeps the Army going.

Indian Army success formaula=blood of jawans and young officers (multiplied by) Orders(multiplied by) Numbers.

Anyone that thinks this gets better with some piecemeal procurements is deluding themselves

The sh!t show exists because of these people and the culture that exists, what is going to change that? More money won’t- it arguably may make it worse as they’ll think shiny out of the box equipment is a substitute for training

Interesting though that the guy says he’s EX-IDF, that seems to imply they’ve moved from govt-govt deals to hiring these guys as consultants for a longer period

Meanwhile the IA/Paras are training with Shifuji and that married couple with 0 military training
