I will be honest here,
@Azaad
He could have handled this mess better. Was watching the interviews of his relatives and lawyer - nobody was aware what exactly he was up to; for he talked very little (something other users have pointed out already).
Attending 110+ hearings over the course of 2 years at some faraway lower court is NOT normal - approaching a higher court would have helped. As I mentioned in one of my earlier posts, even Sridhar Vembu, a freaking billionaire, is fighting a very very ugly divorce case with his ex-wife. Shikhar Dhawan had one too. Divorce cases can go ugly real quick.
There were ways to deal with this shit - especially since the guy was quite loaded too. That the lower courts are super corrupt and can be rigged is common knowledge - he should have prepared accordingly.
The repeated changes in the statements of the accuser, along with filing and withdrawing of newer charges at regular intervals should have been noted by his lawyer and could have been reason enough for a fresh petition at some higher court. Astonishing how nobody even bothered.
Perhaps he was too depressed and stopped caring altogether.
