There is a clear step up from Bangladesh puppets to raise an issue with us.
In the escalation ladder of our GOI this is still in below threshold. We don't know the actual threshold since Bangbros were friendly as long as Hasina was there.
india is stuck in a quandry with BD at centre.
mostly because we are in a scenario where we are the bodybuilder 17 year old shant older bro and bangbros are the stunted crippled bokachoda 10 year old taking pangaa with him. His options are either
a) do nothing
b) kill the fecker.
So he does nothing ( for now).
This is reality of India-BD calculus. India possesses several brahmastra to END bangladesh in a week or turn them into the next Darfur crisis x1000 due to geographical and geopolitical reality along with power balance.
And no, nobody can save them- not cheen, not murrica, not EU, nobody - because we can end them in a week flat and that is too short a time for anyone to intervene meaningfully ( except Unkil going full nuclear on us over it and sending its gulf CBGs in 1971 redux mode and even then, India holds timing luxury to time it in such a way that logistically Unkil cannot respond till Beediland is perma-fucked).
But unfortunately, mostly due to us not cultivating our hindu+buddhist dharmic base in Bangladesh and relying on one woman army of Hasina, we lack any 'scapels' to finely surgically control the situation in bangladesh.
Like..what CAN we do that is small enough to get them to reconsider but also large enough to hurt ?
Answer: Visa shenanigans, callibrated trade restrictions, etc. Because beyond that, we have no other levers in beediland that fit the job description.
Then as we can see, GoI and Bhajeepav have been extrmely proactive in the matter, having already done visa restrictions at lightning speed and already working on callibrated trade restrictions etc.
but beyond that, we cannot do much, except engage brahmastra.
For that, a casus belli has to occur for us to go beyond threshold. Ultimately, as much as the hinduvta angle matters, india matters more. India cant be seen as 'ending' Bangladesh and turning it into a flooded shithole or invading it and conducting pogroms in its territory to carve out a buffer hindu-bangladesh state etc. or even going for straight up conventional war, marching to dhaka and getting them to sign on what we want, etc. without a decisive, just cause.
This escalation ladder must be followed, else it has catastrophic effects on the wider indian foreign relations with several of the world nations that matter to India that would be legit 'WTF INDIA' about this.
That is the reality of the situation.
Overall, i give bhaajepav an A with a min of A- on beediland so far, now that we have a body of time to assess over, imo.
