In this whole episode, I wasn't suggesting military action. That can rightly be called a trap set up by the deep state.
But cutting off cotton supply, stopping imports from kanglus, and most important of all rounding up illegals are necessary courses of action.
This episode has also revealed the flaw in basing foreign policy by relying on one faction of a government in a country and trusting that they'll hold on to power indefinitely, and
having no plans on what happens if their opposition takes over. And ignoring obvious signs for decades that the public is hostile and are the same terrorists as pakis.
At a military level, this has resulted in having absolutely no preparation and plans for massive redeployment to seal off the eastern border, which is going to become much more dangerous than our western border.
Scenario 1: they start pushing terrorists with AK's through the porous border to WB and Assam. What's the game plan?
Scenario 2: their army starts getting aggressive with BSF and helps terrorists. What's the game plan?
Scenario 3: 20-30 million kanglus in India start getting activated for infrastructure sabotage + burning down sections of cities. Termites was an understatement by Amit Shah. Whats the game plan?
The fact is we never factored in bangladesh as a military threat in our force structure planning, all because we thought sheikh hasina will hold power indefinitely, or because 1971. I have long held the view, which is now coming true, that India needs to have a much more militarized population (Hindus) where we can mobilize an extra 5-10 million armed men for emergency measures at quick notice. And many more drones + arty + armored vehicles to support such an enlarged force.
No matter how far fetched this sounds, this is the type of force required for our survival as a country and community. The 1.2 million man Army concept is a relic of a flawed thinking that says that conventional war at the borders + Kashmir are the only real areas of conflict.
We have bangladesh + northeast kukis + 250 million M's internally who can only be deterred through hard military power. This power can also be in the form of CRPF and militarized state police rather than army. But there needs to be a 5 million man heavily armed + armored + air supported force for India's future security needs.
Inevitably this will also lead to both pakis and kanglus raising such conscript forces in the millions of their own, but that doesn't concern us as we need the 5 million man force for internal cleanup + manning borders. And 5 million is a conservative figure.
