Let's get some facts straight, shall we -

Soros is damaging India RIGHT NOW.
The amount of damage Soros is causing to India is astronomical.
It's not just that he is promoting groups harming India. He is also promoting ideology that is is catastrophic to the younger generation.

in contrast Elon has not done a single thing that is against India.
he is a business man. He want's to do business in India. And to achieve this, he will never be like Soros.
The 'he is a chameleon, will be democrat etc etc' does not make any sense.
If one were to make the statement, back it up at least.
On contrary, he has an axe to grind against Democrats. He lost his son to them. He is not an ideologue. His path comes from the pain he ha gone through.
And to top it all, democrats have been absolutely shredding him for years now.

It does not mean Elon will be India's best friend. Hell he could do things which are bad for us.

But the crux of my point is this internal competition is no longer within manageable levels . The society started tearing at its seams during Bush's regime. 9/11 interrupted things for a brief while after which it was biz as usual.
