As long as we are fighting on our own land, have manpower a nd firepower advantage, we will be just fine..
150 dead Army men in a year, is a lot less than 5000 dead ARMYMEN in a Ukraine like Russian adventure.. Both our political class and Genrol class is very comfortable with the way things are going for the past 20 years..

Truth is, it will get a lot worse. India is playing a big game now with China on one side and the US on the other. Whether it is Kashmir or NE, we have to mentally prepare for the worst. Both sides will gladly fund and spread insurgency, and might even provide active, live intel to terror groups. Nothing new.

India is still much better off compared to its neighbors, and other larger nations. This was known well in advance, which is why it was important to remove Article 370, forcefully change the demographics, make it UT, bring more power to the LG, and cleanse the area from major political and ground support.

The next few years until 2030 is going to be a very very rough and a very bloody period for everyone.
 
This war is not for weak hearted . One poster was saying about POK , Is India in position to handle loses ..

It won't, Rashid engineer ka software update Hogaya hai, and Police is being managed by the LG and Kashmiris finally get to vote for whoever they want. The more life improves for general Kashmiris, the more hostile locals will become to terrorism.

Slowly this 150 dead a year will become 1000 dead a year if you continue fighting on your own land. Then one day the Pakistani operatives will establish a continues supply chain and even bring some medium caliber weapons. And one day the area which you call yours will become a buffer zone.

Pakistanis want direct escalation from India, the Pakistan Army's popularity is at an all-time low. Everyone inside their country hates them, especially the Pashtuns, who make a huge chunk of the grunts in their army.

We will have to maintain a direct non-confrontational role while dismantling them from within. Which is precisely what is going on right now. They are getting dismantled through JKLF (yes the same JKLF) in PoK, the PTM movement in KP, the BLA/BLF movement in Baluchistan, and PTI's popularity in KPK and Punjab.

Someone is doing a very detailed, complicated operation in there.

Since Independence we have never fought any high casualty war.. None of our wars haven't crossed 4000 dead..
I don't think India can handle 10,000 dead in 5 months.. We are pretty cowardly for a country of 1.4 billion

But we can take 10,000 dead soldiers in 25 years..

Only 750 dead.. The Genrol and Political class thinking is: If we had crossed the LOC in force and occupied parts of POK, it would be 7500 dead..
That's a win..
