It's amazing how every single big forum is controlled by Indian leftists and commies. It is impossible to write anything remotely positive about india on reddit without getting banned. Here is a challenge: find a single positive thread in r/india. 90% of the news is some random killing, r@pe story or now collapse stuff. Even twitter is full of leftist handles who amplify the worst of the country to a international audience. Even the indiatech handles have started doing it. Literally a hopeless country.

and this is why we actually need our own social media platforms. there are some things in India that needs more attention, espeically in dehat land, without the rest of the world needing to know. our english handles and media love screaming loudly on all crime happening in dehatland in english, which then propagates to the whole world

I beg to differ. What may have been true for the 2000s & earlier need not be true today. YA should issue warnings to the errant employees.

If they still don't comply , threaten dismissal & while issuing the warnings also make provisions for conducting parallel recruitment.

Isn't the employment situation in UP bad with millions making multiple attempts for a government post sometimes perishing in the attempt ? Well this here is the right opportunity for them .

At some point we'd have to crack the whip. Across the nation. We can't merely state that there can be no improvement & continue making adjustments for corruption incompetence & malfeasance.

Govt jobs have this weird fetish policy of transfer after 2-3-4 years at one place.
Earlier when families were big and there were members to take care of elders but now one earning member has to take care of family to elders. Govt must take care of this.

Transfer is part & parcel of government jobs. It's true for nationalised banks , DPSU's , the Navratnas , State bureaucracy ..you name it .

If one is averse to transfer , forget about a government job. It's as simple as that.

If they go by rules of any govt job , there will be no job ever done. There are lot of other rules like labour rules, leave rules, medical rules.
Anything getting accomplished in govt sector is due to extra effort taken by someone concerned. Else they will become like courts.

What sort of an argument are you putting forward ? Just because you've decided transfers are not in somebody's best interests , you choose to bring up unnecessary & pointless excuses as to why we can do away with transfers coz there are a 100 things not happening at the same time.

This is as disingenuous an argument as those striking teachers who've decided they don't want to subject themselves to service rules on punctuality coz it doesn't suit them or their way of life.

Action taken on 11K teachers for not showing up and using the new tool for marking their attendance. They all get salary cut for the day.

These Siksha Mitra don't want to use new technology, they come late to school and don't want to share update on what was done in school that day.

If you crack Govt job and then have concern about transfer, then you should not have tried for it in first place.

There shouldn’t be too much transfer in government teacher jobs because you would want continuity and stable progress in the education curriculum. I mean in the US good teachers usually stay in their jobs for 20-30 years in one or two places.

Even SME and MSME started to have biometric entries to track attendance. Even Large Textile shops have biometrics for attendance. Salary is based on attendance. They moved away from old school ledgers.

Looks like free loading is more important than teaching. Good job by UP government by not budging out.
