Indian Special Forces

One guy filling PKM belt in middle of the encounter
Are they not sitting too casually in an encounter?no cover no nothing looks like a shooting drill to me

Seems like a support weapons squad, I see GPMG, GL40 and a MGL.
Yea but you are not supposed to sit this close as a bunch during encounters that too without any cover afaik I can be wrong

May be covering the other teams it's definitely encounter video look at the terrain you can hear the other firing shots from different position

The difference between engaging squad and first internal cordon is usually a 70-80 to 100 meters as in to cover a large distance from their angle (better engagement with running terrorists and somewhat better chances at detecting them before they ambush). I guess they are gonna be fine although a little better would do no harm

They are sitting at a height..the terrorists can max engage the front 2-3 guys..the ones at back are safe...height makes it safe.

Had they been sitting in slope like this they were gone.

Man I swear 9 has the hottest SF logo out there. This appears on colonel awadhesh's book and tushar mahajan's statue so I guess it's official 🤯

Isn't the line " who cares who wins" a bit counterproductive? The goal should be to win!

Only @Arad Operator might know its true meaning. The only thing I know is that Sir David Stirling (founder and creator of SAS and their motto) himself sometimes used to humorously curropt the original "who dares wins" into "who cares who wins"

Maj jacob had said we are here to play not to win hence who cares who wins.

Is it a geeta reference?
" fal ki chinta na karke sirf karm karo arjun " .
Thus don't care about who wins just do your job .

Yeah its official. The beret worn in the opposite direction with a balidan on it instead of the para regt flash/insignia is the correct version of this. It was drawn by some officer of this unit

Right, it's a play on the actual line of SAS' motto
