Buddy, you don't have any clue about sniper spotter pairs. In 70s spotters were only using AR or SMG, because the main sniper rifle itself wasn't capable of engaging more than 1000m.Hahaha, stop making your own terms to justify dumb statements man.

I think you should read about what a 'secondary' weapon is for, it can be either a AR, Carbine, SMG, MP or Handgun, while the spotter can carry his on primary AR/Carbine and a secondary SMG, MP or Handgun.![]()
Now a days a spotter is carrying SSR.
Russians have the concept since 80s, now FN Scar mk 20 is also specially developed for SSR roles.
