See it from Bengali bhadrolok perspective, it would be very out of character for them to dictate women's clothing.
As proclaimed by many Duga puja is Bengali culture rather than a matter of religion.

Anyone opposing this will be labled regressive Bhaiyas.

There is no right or wrong time for a thing such as this, those who are going to create false equivalences to push a moral panic and abandon common sense when they're pulled up on their behavior certainly don't need any time or reason to do so. You're partially right in that the horse has probably already bolted in a sense with regard to Bhodrolokism but it is still never too late. Asking girls to dress modestly - especially during religious occasions - is not a justification for rape, such brainlet rationalizations need to be combatted unapologetically.
For every one of those hackneyed phlegminist takes there is a simple counter, just needs someone to have the stones to be disagreeable enough and call a spade a spade.

I am not sure what the question is here. If you are asking about taking selfies at durga pandals with back turned to protima, then even our RSS karyakartas do this and everyone does this - i do this too.In fact, i am surprised that anyone DOESNT do this at some point in their life, lol.

As for dictating women's clothing at temple/pandal grounds, hinduism doesnt have any norm/culture of special cover-up or special dressing for religious significance- we just follow whatever is the social convention of the places we live in to 'regulate' dress code.
Go to durga puja in the west and jeans/skirts are seen as normal to wear. Go to a durga puja in rural bengal and anything less than a sari/churidar is seen as uncouth. Go to south Kolkata durga pujas and dressing like a tiktok slut is seen as normal.
My bet is, this scene is from one of the durga pandals in the south kolkata region, that goes more for 'modern art' look of trash than traditional art.
In fact, Kolkata has a regional theme organically develop outta Durga puja.
North Kolkata pandals tend to have more of the Baul/folksy art tradition as template, the central Kolkata region ( Shyambazar to BBD Bagh region) goes for the ultra-traditional murtis, the precision of the order being exactly 100s of years old, while South Kolkata goes more for the 'modern goth durga/rock durga/air india mascot durga<insert your modern art take on durga>'.


I do agree with the sentiment that we can't ban prostitutes or xyz hindus from the temples, because gods are for everyone who believes, regardless of whether they are a crook or a saint.

I am surprised nobody sees the similarity after seeing the similar levels of hate they both possess(both don't know the reason why they hate or the result of their hatred and actions).

Marxists only believe in bi opposite polarization of everything to the point of confrontation for destruction of the other. Simple logic being for one to gain the other has to loose.

Strength of a nation/civilaztion comes not from the amount of land or resources they possess but the people. The society acts as the hull and superstructre of the ship while culture acts as the rudder and anchor.

With decline of US as sole superpower with the capability to rule the world, we have entered pre ww1 global realpolitik/geopolitics/international politics.
Elites of other nations rallied their people to war on the basis of ideas like culture, religion, etc.
The elites who won the world wars and established global dominance are preventing those wars to maintain supremacy.

Radical feminism nukes the tfr so demography does not support war.

Cultural marxism ensures there are no ideas to rally population of a nation for war/cultural renaissance.

Political marxism ensures there is no popular support for elites/government.

In the end wars of those scale will happen and a radical (destructive in some manner) cultural renaissance will happen on a global scale in accordance with newton's third law.
 
My post above was more of my personal thoughts about durga puja rather than a judgement on society or women. I prefer it if durga puja is a spiritual celebration rather than a festival ... but that is just my opinion. But durga puja is more of a party than a religious event for bengalis. For me as a probasi (living outside bengal) it was always just me and my family so perhaps I see durga puja in that way . When I met dudes from bengal they 100% went to the puja in the evenings to oogle girls with 2 kg makeup on. It is what it is, diwali is similar, it is a party rather than a religious event.

Nope, it has nothing to do with the so-called commie mindrot (no such thing exists anyway). Heck, there is just as big a Hindutva wing across Bengali SM who e-lynch the same 'commies' and 'wokes' - not sure how much ya'll have interacted with them. What the commies were successful in creating was a loud mouthed 'woke' ecosystem across SM - the party barely manages to snatch a few votes here and there but the 'wokes' are everywhere. Think about it, the TMC is the ruling party in WB - how many TMC supporters do you come across online? But you do come across the commie sympathizers who are everywhere even though the commies got reduced to a vote katua party long back.

Kali Puja, otoh, is more of a religious festival.

There is, in fact, a tradition of sculpting Durga idols with soils collected from the red light districts.

Also, I will have to look up the details but am sure there exist a handful of Pujas that are organized by sex workers exclusively.

Agreed. These pajeetas often take sides of wignats/sulloids when Indian(hindu) men are being dehumanized,but cry and seethe when they dehumanize Indian women(again,I don't think all Indian women are trash like that,but still many are).
They are also hypocrites because they do this "gora saar","korean saar" all the time but start crying when they see an Indian man with a non-Indian woman(be it white,east asian,latina or even black women).
