Ya'll Non, Not a fan of Coupe Crossovers, like Tata Cruvv it will be difficult to supress the 5k per month sales mark even with a ICE, even at aggressive picing.
Agree, coupe are done to death already (even with the few models).

But Curvv has poor rear seat height and offers little more compared to Nexon. The Mahindras are targeting high price cars, from Innova Hycross till lower Audi/BMW etc in everything from seat comfort to driving. With Blade battery, they have the advantages BYD has + local production.

a car if it iffers good space, kneeroom, headroom and good gc. It shall succeed even if its coup. With curvv problem ists still based on nexon platform with dome upgrades. Nexon platform puts limit on howmuch space can be liberated. Wait for Tara's Avinya platform. Thats platform built for electric vehicles from ground up.

Ya'll Not a mass movers, how much luggage space you add, and features those buying 25 lakh rupees base model car will be less and out of those preferring a Coupe will be less of that.

I don't know why but the more pics I look into more indigestible this design language seems to me.

The two spoke Steering looks worse than the Tata's two spoke steering.

Styling looks a bit overdone to me. However, these have been priced quite well for the feature and range they are providing.

DRL in New BE and e9 looks horrible man.

Just three straight lines jutting out in front. On the other hand XUV 700 have pleasant DRL.

Latest TATA cars also having tube light DRL.

I can never bring myself to like or agree with Battery EVs.

Somehow I feel that these look like toys or cars to be used by LGBT community. Cars need to have some musculine aura.

Ya'll Nibbiars Atleats New Sierra still have some characters this don't even that.

Both Tata and Mahindra are trying to outdo each other for overdoing car design. It’s what Chinese car makers used to do earlier till recently when they just started hiring German and Italian/European designers and now coming up with a lot of aesthetically good designs for their newer models. IMO this oversized DRL is killing otherwise decent BE models
FYI M&M and even Tata cars with understated design will be much more desirable than their current line up. They have solid mechanicals, decent engines ( specially Mahindras) and good interiors otherwise.

Ya'll Nibbiars But has power thanks due to the Cheap Blad Batteries, but mark my workd the 10 years Gurantee is a marketing gimmick, it performance will drop within few years.https://x.com/rushlane/status/1861796631571476762

Even those on XUV 700 were horrible. My family rejected it just because of design. Otherwise I had almost convinced them to buy XUV 700 by giving them a spirited test drive

It's not even about character. Battery EVs by their very nature are wasteful. Charging takes time, range is limited, can't top off in remote locations. Fast charging rapidly degrades cell capacity. Replacement battery costs 25% of the vehicle's taxed MRP. Lithium mining in mass scale is dirty business and causes more environmental damage than a modern turbo petrol with fuel injection. Not to mention condemning the ecology. No. Battery EVs are never the answer unless the vehicle is just supposed to roam within the metro or the neighborhood. Even then it's too costly and becomes an extra burden on the electricity grid. Alternative bio or synthetic fuels, Hydrogen etc. are the real future. Retiring the internal combustion engine is also a mistake, and I don't say it just because I'm a car nut. And cars sold in this country are already as dreadfully boring as they get. Under 9-10 lakh INR it's more fun to invest on a bike.

Until the charging time is reduced to bellow 10 mts, and range above 500 for affordable models with ubiquitous charging infra to effortlessly handle the traffic, EV is a No No for person who buys a car to go to work and travel without worrying about empty tank midway, and not to work on/for a Car and go where car allows you to go
