Indian Special Forces

Vahi to problem hai , u can mount nods on patka with harness but can't mount external power pack . No wonder they will have power issues .
Plus harness on patka will never be stable enough to move and fire with them .
Was about to write
Good thing u did it
Patka pe binods nahi laga sakte for effective operation
U can't fit battery as counter balance thus giving u low endurance instability and strain on ur neck
Infact no point to argue here they don't have night fighting capabilities
Nvg is just one part of it u should have entire ecosystem running around it
It's not like sf having capability but infantry or ghataks or rr don't as they work in synergy
It's an ecosystem that is powered by nvg ir strobes iff lights ir discipline and most importantly a comprehensive usage which comes with 100s of hours of training with those, understanding the pros and cons and formulating sop
It's not like u provide equipments and they will fight like western sf
No one is asking them to go into jungles with quads they should be restricted to urban scenarios
But binods are basic for night fighting capabilities
Mono provides u shit and good for nothing except u are under surveillance mission but even then binods are better

There's a mindset that FN or HK weapons(in general anything european) is superior for the babus, FN or Hk was deemed to come in service for VVIPs, hence FN F2000, P90, Scar-L/H, HK-417 for SPG and SG.
FUnny part is that the supporters of Make in India don't want shitty ASMI or JVPC in serviceXD
Ah so that's why they use the Fish2000. The Fish is so reliable, in the event of a jam and failure to eject, the only way to clear the Fish is to disassemble it, melt the plastic inside and around the chamber to clear the jam and then blow out shattered case debris from the barrel and ejection tube.
The P-90 is another lovely reliable gem with Schrodinger's magazines. Will it feed or not ? who knows, let's find out during a shootout.

Most good modern plate carrier have padding at the back to facilitate ventilation and reduce the trauma caused when hit .

Some even use add on pads to make it more comfortable for long deployments

Some companies even offer SAP backers for their plates that help in reducing trauma and even provide some add on protection.

Now guess what will be more comfortable and effective.
A well vented PC with pads or a stitched one sitting flush with your chest .

Good trauma absorption also results in less broken ribs when hit , it also reduces chances of developing Traumatic Pneumothorax thus preventing casualties.
