What is max height for HAHO para jump?
Highest recorded military jumps are somewhere close to 40000 ft. At that height, the air temps are around -50C and O2 systems are a must. I'm not sure if it's feasible militarily to jump at higher altitudes. The highest recorded para jump was north of 135k feet but with specialized equipment. So technically you could jump from an altitude of probably up to 140k feet but that would be overkill.

These aren't sniper rifles, all are DMR. Vintorez SSR and VSK-94 SSR as the name suggests is Sniper Support Rifle(SSR) not sniper rifles
Your concept of sniper rifles are entirely different from world standard.

The limited numbers of OSV-96 AMR in Marcos service won't make any difference, 1st of all, no serious military uses this rifles. Only poor 3rd world countries on which Russians have great influence on them have it. Probably Marcos inducted it during the time of western scantion on India.
Sako T3 TAC Marcos have is base varient which fires 7.62 x 51 cal rounds, and it's max range won't even cross 1000m, in western countries it's used as hunting rifles by civilians.

PSG-1 is an outdated sniper rifles. Yes it was one of the top rated SR during its time in 70s and 80s, now there are sniper rifles with far better accuracy, range and provision for accessories to be fitted which helps a sniper to hit the target from more than 2000m. Atleast army have .338 LM, Marcos still don't have it.

Morden snipers in advanced military are trained to hit targets beyond 2500m using LM or NM rounds. Or they use 50cal rounds for extremely long range shots which are beyond 3000m.
To get trained for such long range shooting, they need sniper schools with multiple firing ranges with more 4000m long. Something Marcos cannot accommodate inside their 150 acres of NSWTTC.
In advance sniper course there are cources like urban sniping which requires lot of infrastructure.
In india there is no good sniper school, be it in army, air force or in navy.
I believe for further advanced courses marco, para and garud are sent abroad

Please excuse my ignorance, but how do you all see the future of traditional sniping in light of recent advancements in drone technology? As seen in Ukraine, affordable FPV drones, drones equipped with thermal imaging, missiles, and even those mounted with weapons have proven highly effective against frontline infantry, all while keeping operators at a safe distance. Additionally, traditional sniper roles, such as reconnaissance, seem increasingly redundant due to the widespread use of inexpensive Chinese drones with thermal imaging. Given this, would it be a wise decision to make substantial investments in a sniper training program for infantry?

Conventional sniping roles will still remain important ,
Although FPVs are proving effective in operating against frontline infantry ,often their numbers are limited , thus mostly limited to be used against armor and entrenched enemies . Drone operators are becoming really vital , so is taking them out (hint SNIPERS ). EW is also a problem . Thus AMR role to hit EW stations create a new possibility .

Targeted HVT hits can be done with FPVs but while facing against competent enemies with EW , snipers will still be applicable . Yes recon will become rare but sabotage will still remain .

One big issue with FPVs is that they are less precise (blast can cause collateral damage ) which can be a problem .For CI/CT they are still very important as we can not always justify FPV hits .

In a whole Drones will somewhat replace them in selected roles in some circumstance but SNIPERS are here to stay .

Bhai am not a big fan of your rants, but you make complete sense here. For some reason Marcos neither have a single .338 sniper or even the CG M4. Army is better in that regard!

Anti thermal Ghillie suites will prevent the detection from UAVs.
See, unless a sniper got detected due to his mistakes, drones aren't a big threat to them. Humans standing near cannot find a sniper who is good at fieldcrafts, so UAV aren't going to be a big issue.
Anti thermal Ghillie isn't a new technology, pakis were using it against us to avoid detection by HHTIs deployed by indian army at LOC.

I am not aware of any such programs by any of them.
Yes they send soldiers to the sniper OEM companies for learning about the weapons through which they learn some tactics on it. Other than that never heard about army or Marcos sending any soldiers to any professional sniper schools.
