What? You show tender for seats, AMCCS and CBRN recce and say the entire chassis is DRDO?Chassis is developed by cvrde drdo and is derived from ngmbt , Here is the tender.

I mean with all due respect, it don't mean anything, it's very common in engineering to look at products from someone else, analyze them, and then make a better product which may look quite similar. Also the Stryker itself is derivative of piranha, but US MIC is more around air force and missile system, and engines ground system is usually not their biggest concern, Stryker is itself made in Europe.Tracks ko dekho bhai. k21 hi hai base mai.
It's logical. L&T built an entire factory to make AFVs with ToT from the koreans. Of course they'd leverage that.
The engine is the exact same Cummins as the K21.
You missed point 2 completely, I think those you mentioned are written under special sub systemWhat? You show tender for seats, AMCCS and CBRN recce and say the entire chassis is DRDO?
the 22 tonnes of Armor steel - that's the base layer so i assume 3 tonnes of ceramic composites.
It looks like they have reworked chasis. Tracks for example they look they have placed inside, the drive train has been worked upon. Remember seeing them in background when Modi Visited LT factory for the visit quite some time back.View attachment 1859

The armour package is DRDO's. Their ceramic composite mix is damn good.
Some of the sensor suites are Tonbo's and have that see through augmented reality tech.
It's a damn good prototype for the time frame. Service ready I'd say. L&T is the best goddamn integrator in India.
sorry i meant the hull.Cockeril 3105 hai
What happened to this one?It looks like they have reworked chasis. Tracks for example they look they have placed inside, the drive train has been worked upon. Remember seeing them in background when Modi Visited LT factory for the visit quite some time back.

Delhi dur ast.. Looks like the way things are .. Tata and GDLS JV shall have more chanceIt will replace bmps as tracked ICVs
Tender was for development and supply of chassis. What? You show tender for seats, AMCCS and CBRN recce and say the entire chassis is DRDO?

Sometimes, I think people are really just finding a way to save IA from criticism.
A solution exists but AP rounds reeeeee..... Like every damned terrorist has mags full of only AP rounds. And drdo has already developed add on lightweight ceramic Armor, hell even a composite passanger cabin can be mounted on present trucks, will easily provide STANAG 2/3 protection, without adding too much weight penalty.
Solutions are many but they just want Gucci gear, while 90% equipment is WW2 era.
Remind me why these big brained guys in IA didn't ordered gun shields with Armado and are deploying them with their chest high....
If the terrorists are smart enough to target drivers in trucks, they are smart enough to take out gunner in Armado first as well....
And well, various RCWS exist but here we are with 1000 IQ people

Those who have been following defense in India would agree with me that our soldiers kept on dying for years, and well a decade+ for now in CI/CT Ops and nothing happened. Nothing will happen in near future as well, life is somewhat extremely cheap here.
And then there was US which fielded around 10,000+ MRAPs within a relatively short time to tackle IED threats. Hum Inka 1/10 kar le wo hi bahut h.

Btw MKU Provides Kavro armoured solutions for 4x4,6x6 etc vehicles which just an armour layer they have two options one in which the layer protects against AP Bullets and also against HMG second one in which it provides STANAG 4569 protectionOn Tatra Trucks? Do these Jokers even know how much each Tatra truck costs plus the cost of the Armour that will further raise the cost. The best is that Ashok Leyland and Tata offer Armoured Trucks at half the cost then Tatra Armoured trucks. View attachment 2461
